Become the Historian of Problems
Most people rush to solve problems.
Very few take the time to study them.
Yet the people who create the biggest breakthroughs often spend longer understanding the problem than designing the solution.
This week, instead of asking:
“How do we fix this?”
Ask:
“How long has this existed?”
“Who has already tried to solve it?”
“Why did previous attempts fail?”
Problems have memory.
Most solutions fail because they ignore it.
This Week’s Experiment
Choose one recurring frustration.
Trace its history.
You may discover that the real problem is not where everyone is looking.
Reflection
The person who understands the story of a problem often sees opportunities invisible to everyone else.
